VIPS offers more than 15 programmes across six broad disciplines - Law, Engineering, Management & Business Administration, Computer Applications & IT, Media & Journalism, and Arts & Humanities. This range is far broader than any purely engineering-focused GGSIPU college, and it reflects VIPS's foundational identity as a professional studies institution rather than a technical institute with management as an add-on. Each discipline is treated as a first-class academic department with its own specialised infrastructure, dedicated faculty, and industry connections.

Courses at VIPS Delhi: A Multi-Disciplinary Landscape
Law Programmes - The Flagship
Law is VIPS's most nationally recognised academic offering. The BA LLB (5-year integrated) and BBA LLB (5-year integrated) programmes are ranked among the top 25 law programmes in India by India Today 2025, and in the top 11 among private law colleges by Outlook-ICARE 2025. VIPS's law school is BCI-recognised and has a purpose-built moot court that gives students experience arguing cases in a replica courtroom environment - a facility that genuine law schools consider essential and that many institutions with nominal law departments simply do not have. The law faculty includes practising advocates, retired judges, and academics with strong research profiles. Admission is through CLAT (UG) scores via GGSIPU counselling.
B.Tech Engineering Programmes
VIPS offers B.Tech in 7 specialisations including Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), CSE with AI & ML, CSE with AI & Data Science, CSE with IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. All programmes are affiliated to GGSIPU and follow the university curriculum, supplemented by VIPS's own industry exposure programmes, internship drives, and technical certification partnerships. B.Tech at VIPS is a four-year programme with admission through JEE Main scores via GGSIPU counselling. Total B.Tech fee is approximately ₹5.32 Lakhs over four years.
Management Programmes (BBA / MBA)
The School of Business Studies at VIPS offers BBA at the undergraduate level and an MBA at the postgraduate level. VIPS's BBA has been ranked 36th nationally by India Today and 38th by IIRF - genuinely strong rankings for a BBA programme that places it in a very different league from the business studies departments of most GGSIPU engineering colleges. The MBA programme admits students through CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. Business students at VIPS benefit from proximity to the law school's research and practice culture, which adds depth to their understanding of corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory environments - an unusually rich cross-disciplinary resource.
Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC)
BJMC at VIPS is one of the institution's most distinctive programmes. The curriculum covers print media, radio, television, digital media marketing, filmmaking, graphic design, video editing, electronic media, and public relations - a broad sweep that prepares students for roles across the full spectrum of modern media industries. VIPS has dedicated media studios and production equipment that give BJMC students hands-on training from early in their programme. The course's proximity to Delhi's media industry - national newspapers, news channels, digital platforms, advertising agencies, and PR firms - creates strong internship and placement opportunities that students in less centrally located colleges simply cannot access as easily.
Computer Applications (BCA / MCA)
BCA and MCA at VIPS are strong programmes for students who want a computing-focused education outside the engineering framework. BCA is a 3-year undergraduate programme covering programming, database management, web development, and software engineering fundamentals, while the 2-year MCA (post BCA or BSc) goes deeper into software architecture, systems programming, and advanced computing topics. Admission to MCA is through NIMCET scores. VIPS's BCA has been ranked in the top 100 nationally in the computer applications category by Collegedunia.
