Results for the remaining 84 subjects, which were unaffected, have already been declared, and candidates who appeared only in those subjects do not need to take any further action.

The re-examination affects only candidates who had originally appeared for the English, Commerce or Sociology papers in the June 2026 cycle; all other UGC NET aspirants are unaffected and can proceed with their result-based plans for JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility or PhD admission.
