PDEA Ayurved Rugnalaya and Snowbell Multispecialty Hospital
The NABH-accredited teaching hospital located at Sector No. 27, Pradhikaran, Nigdi, Pune - 411044. The hospital offers comprehensive OPD, IPD, an Ultramodern Panchakarma Unit, a Modular Operation Theatres Complex, an AYUSH Diagnostic Center, and allied facilities. Contact: 020-27659460.
Herbal Garden
A beautiful and extensive herbal garden on campus housing more than 1000 medicinal plant species. Used actively for Dravyaguna (Ayurvedic Pharmacognosy) practical training for UG and PG students.
Yogya Clinical Skill Lab
A dedicated Yogya Clinical Skill Lab for hands-on practical skill development for both UG and PG students, covering clinical procedures, examination techniques, and Ayurvedic treatment methods.
Library
A fully digitalized library with internet facilities, housing an extensive collection of Ayurvedic and medical textbooks, reference books, national and international research journals, and digital resources. Equipped with internet access for students and faculty.
Ayurvedic Pharmacy

History and Background of PDEA CARC
PDEA CARC was established in 1990 as part of the Pune District Education Association - founded by the visionary Late Shri B.R. Gholap and inspired by the leadership of Hon. Sharad Pawar and Hon. Ajit Pawar. The college has, since its inception, maintained a tradition of academic excellence in Ayurvedic education. Students of CARC have secured leading ranks in six consecutive state-level BAMS examinations of MUHS, and PG examination results have consistently been 100%. The college's systematic and scientific approach to teaching, combined with a homely campus environment and personal attention from MD (Ayurved)-qualified faculty, attracts students from all over India.
Accreditations and Recognitions
CARC holds multiple prestigious accreditations. It is accredited by NCISM-MARBISM and NABET-QCI with Grade A - one of the highest recognitions for Ayurvedic colleges in India. The institution is also accredited by NAAC with Grade A. The attached teaching hospital, PDEA Ayurved Rugnalaya and Snowbell Multispecialty Hospital, holds NABH accreditation valid from December 2025 to December 2028.
