Who Can Participate and Who Is Not Eligible?

Candidates registered in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 or the earlier stray round do not need to register again. However, they must submit fresh choices because preferences from previous rounds are null and void. Candidates allotted seats in Haryana Round 3 or the state stray round cannot participate. Those who have joined any seat through All India or another state counselling up to the stray round are also ineligible, even after resigning. Applicants must check the Haryana notification and their individual counselling status before paying.

Haryana Special Stray Round Security Deposit

Seat optionsRequired security amount
Only state-quota seats in government/government-aided medical or dental colleges₹10,000
Same government/government-aided options: eligible Haryana SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PwBD candidates₹5,000
Candidates also opting for state/management quota seats in private medical colleges or private universities₹5,00,000

The security deposit is mandatory, including for previously registered applicants, unless a qualifying deposit from an earlier round remains valid and was not forfeited. Candidates with an unallotted, retained deposit from specified earlier rounds need not pay it again. The amount is adjusted against first-year tuition when an allotted seat is joined. Failure to join an allotted seat leads to forfeiture and exclusion from later rounds, if held. Incorrect information or missing essential documents at verification can also result in forfeiture.

How to Register and Fill Choices

Visit the official Haryana UG counselling portal and log in using your registered credentials. New eligible applicants should complete fresh registration and provide accurate personal, NEET and category information. Review or edit entries where permitted, deposit the applicable security amount, and fill preferred colleges, courses and quotas. Lock fresh choices by November 7 at 11:59 PM and retain the submission confirmation. If provisionally allotted, pay the tuition fee online by November 14 at 5 PM, attend in-person verification at UHS Rohtak on November 15, and report to the allotted institute by November 16 at 4 PM.

Colleges Covered and Important Instructions

The notice covers institutions including SGT University, Gurugram; Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Sadhopur, Ambala; Al-Falah University; and Sanskaram School of Medical Sciences, Jhajjar, subject to the applicable counselling and seat matrix. It does not state a fresh total vacancy count, so candidates should consult the portal for currently available seats. Allotments depend on eligibility, merit, choices, quotas and document verification. For reliable updates, follow the university, the Haryana medical education department and the official admission portal.

Candidates should save payment receipts, locked choice details and allocation records for reference. The university states that security deposits of candidates not allotted seats will be refunded after the counselling process, subject to its published rules. Do not assume an earlier choice list automatically carries forward.
